Abigaïl is a 18″ natural fiber art doll.
She is a 16 years old Victorian-era debutante, elegantly dressed for the ball from her mother. She has got the most beautiful long dress embellished with lace, a flower crown, girl’s underwear, immaculate white socks and leather boots.
But Abigaïl has not intention of becoming anyone’s convenient wife. Instead, she is dreaming of becoming a writer. Since her early childhood, she was feeding her imagination by reading books. A tons of books. And she started to make an escape plan …
Abigaïl is entirely created with natural materials. The body is needle felted with Lincoln wool and covered with cotton jersey. I used goat mohair for her rebelious red hair, her eyes are embroidered with green cotton floss. Her body construction allows her to turn the head and her boots help her stand. These details make her very enjoyable for posing.
I would recommend Abigaïl to collectors that love to play with dolls, to take pictures and to spoil them.
Thank you for helping Abigaïl to make her dream reality !
