Ella is a 12″ natural fiber art doll.
They say that a girl should be kissed under a cherry blossom so that she will always be beautiful.
At this time of the year our town is like a decor of a fairy tale with its blooming cherry blossom trees, camellias and magnolias.
During one of our morning’s walks Ella picked one cherry blossom. She bended her head to smell it and her hair got colored in the most beautiful soft pink. Amazed, I witnessed how the petals turned into a pretty dress. An embroidered beige skirt, striped legging and Mary Janes came to complete this Spring outfit. As the sun shines brighter and brighter, freckles appeared on Ella’s face.
Ella is entirely created with natural materials. The body is needle felted with Lincoln wool and covered with sunkissed cotton jersey. I used angora goat mohair for her gorgeous hair, her eyes are embroidered with chocolate brown cotton floss. Her body construction allows her to turn the head and her shoes help her stand. These details make her very enjoyable for posing.
I would recommend Ella to collectors that love to play with dolls, to take pictures and to spoil them.
